Tandoori Chicken

One Whole Chicken two and a half size or Cut into 4 pieces.... Cornish Hen

INGREDIENTS 

Half Tablespoon Red Chilli powder or Kashmiri Chilli Powder

1 tablespoon ginger paste
1 tablespoon garlic paste
3 tablespoons Lemon Juice
1 Cup Yogurt
1 Tablespoon Garam Masala
2 tablespoon oil

1 Red Onion for  Garnish
Cilantro For garnish
Salt to taste


FIRST MARINATION

Take the Chicken make long slits and add ginger & Garlic Paste, Lemon Juice, Salt and red chilli.

Keep it on the side for 20 mins.

SECOND MARINATION

Mix Yogurt, Chilli Powder, Oil, Salt, Ginger Paste, Garlic Paste and add garam Masala.  Make a fine paste.
Add the Marinated Chicken into the second marination and keep on the side for one hour.

FOR COOKING use anyone of the following:

Oven pre-heated to 350 Degrees for 25 mins.

Or

Clay Oven for 20 mins

Or

Grill for 10 mins on each side.

GARNISH

with Onion Rings and cilantro.

Serve with Lemon and Mint Chutney
